Leonard J. Zullo, age 89 of Downers Grove, passed away peacefully on January 31 at Season’s Hospice Naperville Inpatient Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 16, 1931 in Chicago, IL to the late Mary and Peter Zullo. Leonard is survived by his wife Phyllis (nee Palermo); daughters Mary Ann (the late Joseph) Palmer and Lena (David) Guerrieri; grandson Michael Palmer; stepson Anthony Tararo; brother to the late Donald (Diane) Zullo; uncle to Peter (Lisa) Zullo. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 3, 2021 10:00 AM- Noon at Carbonara Funeral Home 1515 S. 25th Ave. Melrose Park, IL 60160 A prayer service to immediately follow. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside IL A celebration of Leonard’s life will be held at a later date.
